GameTora 5th Anniversary Changelog
The GameTora website turned five about a month ago!
I've prepared a patch that's somewhat bigger than usual for this occassion. Because of its size, I've also decided to (uncharacteristically) make a proper changelog, so here you go!
2026-05-25 Update
A second batch of updates, mostly focusing on the Compare Tool!
Compare Tool
- The Compare Tool was visually overhauled, and Support Card / Character comparisons are now on separate pages.
- The Compare Tool now supports saving setups into separate, nameable decks.
- Alternatively, it's now possible to turn off Compare Tool saves altogether by selecting "Saves Disabled" in the deck popup.
- It's now possible to add a 7th column in the Compare Tool (up from previous maximum of 6).
- Several new customization options were added to the Compare Tool (text size, turning off support names, LB visuals, blank value visuals, highest/unique values visuals).
- Hovering over a Compare Tool cell will now highlight the row and column headers. This behavior is toggleable in the settings.
- Compare Tool setups can now be shared with others by generating a share link.
- You can now highlight rows in the Compare Tool.
- You can now hide rows in the Compare Tool.
- You can now sort the columns by a specific row in the Compare Tool.
- A new "0 LB ~ 4 LB" option was added to the support LB popup, which compares the card's different LB values.
Other changes
- "Import game JSON" was added to Trainees and Supports Collection Trackers (previously only available for veterans). If you're using a 3rd party in-game JSON dumper, you can now import all your collections automatically.
- Clicking a support image on support card details pages will now display a high-res version of the image.
- The aptitude values on trainee details pages now use the in-game images instead of simple text.
- An additional filter was added to the Support Card List, allowing to filter for various rare effects from training events that didn't fit elsewhere (e.g. cards that give Maximum Energy, Fast Learner status, etc.)
- The Gacha Simulator now shows small icons of rolled trainees or supports.
- The Gacha Simulator now has a rarity filter, and you can view anything you rolled (previously only 3*/SSR).
- Applied several fixes for bugs and oversights.
2026-05-02 Update
New Pages and Tools
-
Umamusume Canvas was added. It's a freeform planning board where you can add and quickly view multiple trainees, supports or skills (or everything at once).
-
Collection Tracker (Veterans) was added. As the third collection tracker, the Veterans page allows you to save and view your Veteran Umamusume, and use them directly in other tools like the Affinity Calculator.
-
A Scenario List was added.
Non-Japanese servers only
-
Foresight Timeline was added. It calculates the current server pace compared to the JA server, and predicts when upcoming gacha banners, events, and scenarios will likely release.
-
The Events page is now available for other servers. That includes its two formerly JA-only subpages, Story Events and Legend Races.
-
The Global server now has its own Limited Gacha Banners history.
Major Changes
-
The Affinity/Compatibility Calculator now allows you to select sparks/factors and won races, and automatically calculates inheritance chances for the selected trainee.
-
A floating menu button was added when scrolling. This is fully customizable in settings, and can be turned off or changed to "return to top" button.
-
The Characters page, the Supports page, all character details pages, and all support details pages will now show an approximate release date for future content, instead of just "???".
-
The Trainees and Supports collection pages were completely redesigned and had sorting options added.
-
You can now generate a share link for your Collection Trackers, which will display your collection in a read-only mode.
-
The Support Card List now respects your collection LBs, and shows the appropriate values for your cards when sorting.
-
The Playable Character List and Support Card List are now filterable by release dates and what scenario they were released in. Future content is supported as well.
Minor Changes
-
The website's layout was adjusted, and the right side menu will now disappear on viewports smaller than 1200px.
-
The main background color was slightly darkened in dark mode.

A couple of buttons and other website elements were changed or slightly redesigned.

-
Support cards are now filterable by the cards' titles.
-
Trainees (Playable Characters) details pages now show the character's unique epithet/nickname.
-
The Supports collection page and support selection modals are now filterable by rarity.

The "Character versions" box on character and support details pages now shows future versions of the character.
-
There are now three separate collection slots in the Collection Trackers, in case you have more than one account per server.
-
The Skill List filters modal will no longer close automatically after clicking a condition, making it easier to select multiple of them.
-
The Skill List is now filterable by "Obtained from".
-
The Story Event List can now show upcoming events.
-
The story event details pages were redesigned, and will now show the free support card obtainable in the event.
-
The Legend Race Event page was redesigned, and can now show upcoming events.
-
Selecting a card from your collection in the Compare Tool will now prefill its LB.
-
The Racetrack List filters will now show the total number of results, and the result list was slightly redesigned.
-
Fixed an issue where adding a new support card to your collection would default to 1LB instead of 0LB.
-
Fixed an issue where opening a GameTora link with a hash (e.g. /umamusume/racetracks/sapporo#1200-turf) would sometimes not scroll to the relevant section properly.
-
...and probably a couple of other small tweaks and fixes!
